Project Summary
This project intends to develop an OML(Ontological Modeling Language) adapter (a bidirectional transformation) for the Obsidian knowledge management tool. Such adapter will allow Obsidian to be used as a ontological modeling and analysis workbench. This is desirable due to Obsidian’s nice knowledge management features and its large ecosystem of community extensions, all of which would allow domain methodologists the ability to setup their modeling workbench easily and lower the bar to onboard their users.
A new ontological systems engineering method called Sierra
will be specified and developed in this environment as a demonstration. A new system model example called Trailpower
will be developed and used to collect feedback.
